Surgical Research Council | Overview

What is the SRC?

The Surgical Research Council (SRC) of Boston Children's Hospital represents a community of research scientists and clinicians that study fundamental as well as applied problems related to the surgical disciplines. The research studies being conducted by this community are enormously varied, ranging from basic studies of the molecular and cellular processes by which blood vessels grow in tumors to the development of advanced surgical procedures for use during fetal life.

The goal of the SRC is to foster interdisciplinary collaborations and bring together members of the surgical disciplines in scientifically meaningful ways.
