Our research goals are not only to better understand rheumatologic diseases in children, but to also translate this understanding into novel approaches to clinical care. We can only accomplish these goals by learning from our patients through systematic research. Patient participation is vital in this effort. The Rheumatology Department at Boston Children’s Hospital has a variety of studies that are actively enrolling subjects and we welcome patient participation. Each study has unique requirements for participation, and subjects are enrolled based on their alignment with these criteria.
