William La Cava directs the Cava Laboratory and is a new faculty member in the Computational Health Informatics Program (CHIP) at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He received his PhD from UMass Amherst with a focus on interpretable modeling of dynamical systems. Prior to joining CHIP, he was a post-doctoral fellow and research associate in the Institute for Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sid Bharthulwar is a current undergraduate at Harvard College, likely concentrating in computer science with an economics secondary. Prior to interning at Boston Children’s Hospital, Sid conducted machine learning research at the University of Pennsylvania’s Medical School and the University of Colorado, as well as working as a software engineer at an early-stage machine learning startup.
