Leadership
The Autism Spectrum Center (ASC) was founded by Carolyn Bridgemohan, MD, (Developmental Medicine) and Sarah Spence, MD, PhD, (Neurology). It is guided by a multi-disciplinary executive committee. We also have support from workgroups focused on a variety of initiatives to make Boston Children’s the most autism-friendly hospital, and we work closely with our Family Advisory Council to keep our care child- and family-focused.
Sadly we lost Dr. Bridgemohan in summer 2019 and we dedicate our work every day to her memory.
