The Program for Language Equity is partnering with the Multilingual Research Justice Collaborative (MRJC) to create grassroot, community-based services for translating and culturally adapting research materials.

MRJC Goals:

Facilitate Research

Facilitate rigorous but feasible multilingual clinical, translational, and health service research.

Ensure Compensation

Ensure fair compensation for multilingual community partners.

Build Trust

Build capacity and trust in multilingual communities.

Additional Benefits

Although our primary focus is on translation and cultural adaptation, additional benefits of this collaborative include:

  • Improving recruitment

MRJC membership includes:

  • Linguists
  • Interpreters
  • Translators
  • Patients/families
  • Community members
  • Advocates
