Allergy Psychology | Overview
Our Allergy Psychologists can support you and your child in coping with allergies. Common types of support include:
- Preparing for allergy procedures and treatments (such as allergy testing, allergy shots, injections, oral food challenges, or oral immunotherapy)
- Managing anxiety related to food allergies
- Introducing new foods
- Managing itch or sleep problems related to eczema/atopic dermatitis
- Following treatment routines
- Managing medical conditions at home, school, or in social situations
We offer a range of services, from one-time consultations to regular therapeutic support for coping with allergic diseases.

Confidence and connections sessions
We also offer in-person and Zoom Confidence & Connections group sessions for children, teens and parents/other caregivers on various topics related to coping with food allergies and atopic dermatitis. These sessions provide opportunities to learn, practice skills and share experiences with others.
