Diabetes Day Treatment Program | Overview

The Diabetes Day Treatment Program provides high-quality outpatient care for children with diabetes and their families. Most often, we help children who are newly diagnosed with diabetes spend less time in the hospital or avoid it completely. But we can also help in other situations, such as when a child’s care plan changes, or when they face social challenges.

Our program provides diabetes education and training in a safe, supportive environment. Our team of diabetes doctors, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and child life specialists works closely with each family to help them understand diabetes care. We focus on providing the knowledge, skills, training, and supplies needed to help families confidently manage their child’s diabetes at home.

For more information, please download our Diabetes Day Treatment Program family education sheets and brochures.
