About the center

The Center for Young Women's Health (CYWH) is a collaboration between the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine and the Division of Gynecology at Boston Children's Hospital.

The CYWH is an education center for teen girls and young women, their families and health care providers. The center provides:

  • Carefully researched health information and resources at YoungWomensHealth.org
  • Special health education programs and workshops by and for teens conducted at the center and in the community
  • Links to information about the expert medical care available at Boston Children's Hospital

Our mission

Our mission is to help teen girls, their parents, teachers, and health care providers improve their understanding of normal health and development, as well as learn about specific diseases and conditions.
