The NIC monitors the performance of diagnostic and research imaging studies at the participating institutions for purposes of quality control and assurance. Quality assurance assessments are coordinated with the OBC. The NIC staff meets on a weekly basis to review the quality of MR, MR perfusion/diffusion imaging, MRS data, and PET images, and to ensure compliance with the QA protocols throughout the course of the study.
