The Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement conducts research studies that covers many areas within our complex specialty. Our research spreads from neurotology to speech and voice, and experimenting with simulation practices. The department also has a laboratory research program that focuses on the physiology and molecular substrates of inner ear function and dysfunction. The goal of our research is to find the causes of our diagnoses and to improve the care that we deliver to our patients.
