Jennifer Bachand began participating in research as a medical student at the Okuda Lab at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she utilized her mathematics background to analyze three-dimensional changes in brain lesions among multiple sclerosis patients. Presently, she contributes to clinical research within the Gastroenterology Department, focusing on inflammatory bowel disease treatment and management.

Jennifer Bachand studied mathematics at Texas A&M University before pursuing medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She completed residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program and currently works as a pediatric hospitalist at Boston Children's Hospital.
