Jie Zheng received her MSc and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Irvine. Her Ph.D. research focuses on the neural dynamics of emotional memory processing in humans using intracranial recordings of local field potentials. She is currently receiving postdoc training at Boston Children's Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Kreiman. During this training, she aims to incorporate unique neural signatures from human single-unit recordings with computational modeling to understand the episodic memory in humans and to machine memory formation and retrieval.
