Heterotaxy is a rare condition in which the organs in the chest and thorax can be in the wrong position, formed abnormally, or have abnormal function. Many children with heterotaxy also have complex congenital heart defects, and treatment can be challenging. The experts in the Heterotaxy Program at Boston Children’s Hospital are committed to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for children and families affected by this complex condition.
