The Office of Community Health is pleased to share that three community-based collaborative groups in Brockton, Randolph, and Waltham have been selected to receive funding through the Boston Children’s Metro South West Health Initiative. A total of $3 million has been awarded to these collaboratives for use over the next five years as part of the Healthy Communities Initiative.

This Initiative aims to advance child health through place-based collective impact approaches within the Metro South and Metro West areas. The selected projects will establish and nurture systems that promote policy, systems, and environmental changes. This initiative has two phases: a one-year planning period and a four-year implementation period.

You can find more details about these funded projects here.

The hospital is proud to support our community partners in their efforts to improve the health and well-being of children and youth through policy, systems, and environmental changes.
