April 30, 2010- Ellen Hanson, PhD was quoted in an article for Thriving, entitled Children's Hospital Boston's blog, Sensory friendly movies for kids with autism.
April 28, 2010 -Members of the Developmental Research Program presented posters on "Gender Differences in Presentation of Autism Spectrum Disorder" and "Examining the Relationship between Varying Symptom Presentation in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and the Adjustment of their Typically Developing Siblings" at the annual Dr. M. Judah Folkman Research Day at Boston Children's Hospital.
April 25, 2010 -Staff from the DRP attended the 8th Annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day for Autism organized by the Autism Project of RI. Despite some rainy weather, a good time was had by all!
April 23, 2010 -Developmental Research Program staff traveled to the Monarch School of New England to complete testing with several families who are participating in our main study, Phenotypic and Genetic Factors in Autism Spectrum Disorders. April 7, 2010- The article Deletions of NRXN1 (Neurexin-1) Predispose to a Wide Spectrum of Developmental Disorders was published in The American Journal of Medical Genetics. Ellen Hanson, PhD and Rachel Hundley, PhD, were both named as authors.
April 4, 2010 -The article Clinical Genetic Testing for Patients With Autism Spectrum Disorders was published in the latest issue of the journal Pediatrics. Developmental Research Program members Kathryn Lowe, Heather (Peters) Harris, and Stephanie Brewster were named as authors on this paper.

March 16, 2010 -Staff from the Monarch School of New England visited Children's Hospital Boston and gave a presentation for staff in the Division of Developmental Medicine.
On March 16, 2010- Ellen Hanson, PhD gave a talk on behavioral strategies for parents at Swing for the Stars Pediatric Therapy Center in Concord, NH.
