What is remote monitoring?
Remote Monitoring is technology-enabled monitoring of patients outside of clinical settings. Using connected devices and at-home care plans can help patients feel more confident in managing their health independently and allow the care team more time to spend with their most at-risk patients.
Remote Monitoring uses MyChildren's care plans to deliver an interactive, individualized plan of care to patients through the MyChart mobile app or website. It helps patients manage chronic and acute conditions, help them prepare for an upcoming event, such as pre- and post-surgery procedure.
