Prior to coming to Boston Children’s Hospital in September 2014, Michele Garvin was a Partner at Ropes & Gray and the former Chair of Ropes & Gray’s Health Care Group. Michele practiced at Ropes & Gray for over 25 years, representing a wide range of health care providers including academic medical centers and faculty practice plans, community hospitals, physician group practices, managed care plans and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, she was the Research Director of the Massachusetts Association for HMOs. Michele is a strong supporter of pro bono services particularly in the area of medical legal partnerships.
