Executive Vice President and System General Counsel
Prior to coming to Boston Children's Hospital in 2023, Chris served as the General Counsel and Executive Director of Legal Services and Compliance at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. In that role, he led the SickKids legal team in support of the hospital's clinical, research, and academic operations. Prior to joining SickKids, Chris served in roles of progressive leadership and responsibility concentrating on legal issues facing hospitals, physicians, payers, and shared service organizations, including Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
Chris has also served for 25 years in the United States Navy Reserve, in which he is currently a Captain in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He was most recently called to active duty in 2020-21.
Chris earned his BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and his JD from Albany Law School of Union University, in Albany, N.Y. He has also completed the Rotman School of Management Executive Program.
