There is a voluntary recall of Potassium Chloride Extended-Release Capsules, USP (750 mg) 10 mEq made by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. These capsules are being recalled due to an unexpected rate of dissolving in the stomach and could result in higher potassium levels in the blood. Check your prescription bottle label – if you see “Glenmark” as the manufacturer or are unsure, please call the pharmacy where you picked up the prescription.
