New publications!

Check out our latest publication on the effect of cold temperature on pain sensation in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.

This is a study led by our collaborators at MGH that shows how an hour of controlled cooling of the skin can lead to long-lasting decreases in sensitivity to temperature and touch. More clinical studies are needed to investigate the potential effect of this technique as therapy for prolonged relief of cutaneous pain.
