Clinical trials are studies or experiments designed to assess the safety and efficacy of new interventions such as drugs, medical devices, or biologics. Such studies are an integral component of new product discovery and development that is required by a health authority such as the US FDA before a new investigational product can be brought to market. Our lab group has expertise in the development, design, and implementation of randomized control clinical trials of analgesics and novel local anesthetics on pediatric and adult cohorts.
